Frozen 4 site selections?

Re: Frozen 4 site selections?

Well, I do enjoy that Chicago gets a nod, finally. That should be great. I'm a bit worried about the negative I heard from Boston. But I'm glad Brooklyn wasn't chosen.

Re: Frozen 4 site selections?

Pretty good. The only thing I would have done differently is swap Chicago for Washington.

Nah, I think Chicago might get a better turnout than DC. And before everyone jumps in with turnout, let me say it was easy to find tickets outside the Verizon Center an hour before the game.

even taking into consideration the negatives we've heard about boston, still a great city and a great hockey market. with the resurgence of the bruins, i think this time around will be much better than the last one.

So much for the committee moving away from campus sites.

And that Cincy regional is at the very site of the infamous 1996 Frozen Four. Hopefully they got a new ice plant since then. :p

Re: Frozen 4 site selections?

So they dropped the prohibition on on-campus arenas for regionals and lowered the required seating capacity for them as well?

I'm satisfied in knowing that it shouldn't be too hard to fill the TD Garden

Re: Frozen 4 site selections?

glad to see it return to Tampa. I guess I won't complain, considering there's no football venues listed. :p
