Omaha with a really nice effort play and they get a little chance shorthanded, but McIntyre makes the stop

That's the end of the first. 0-0

North Dakota will have 15 seconds left of powerplay to start the Second.

Pretty even game through 20 minutes. North Dakota really controlled play for about the first 6-7 minute and about the last 2-3 minutes. Omaha had their opportunities in the middle portion of the frame.

Should be a good one...looking forward to the next forty minutes!

Don't know what Massa did over the summer, but it really stepped up his game.

His positioning has been really sound. He hasn't really had to make any tremendous saves, but he has been in near perfect position thus far.

Vesel gets the goal for Omaha.

Omaha came out and dominated that shift after the North Dakota goal. Hopefully the Sioux can come back and regain the momentum.

Yeah, McIntyre had absolutely no chance at that. It is always disappointing when the puck literally goes through two of your players standing in the crease.

Parks takes a dumb penalty and then proceeds to take the rest of the shift off, presumably to pout... Unbelievable how selfish he can be at times.
