Norwich opens the regular season tonight in Biddeford, Maine with the UNE Nor'easters while the Fitchburg shootout drops the puck at 5 p.m.!

Yes, wife said stay home. Worst part is I have to miss next week because we are doing an early Thanksgiving with my grandson (and his parents, but who cares about them) in Ohio. I'll have to watch on line. I hate to miss games...and I'm not sure I want to pay 5.95 for UNE's video.

Lot's of injuries early in the season, we should see a lot of our freshman. Forkey has a broken hand, Fulton and Bell have concussions and Gatien is also not dressed. Lawler is starting the third line with Gorman and Allen, Commo said he won't call him little Nevin Lawler! I don't know why the Norwich team's #17 has always turned into one of my favorite players, but this year is no different, he is awesome. He and Mulvey would be good 2 out of 3 starting line, imo.

Live stats says Thomas 1 goal and 1 assist, Cotnoir 1 goal 1 assist, both power plays.
