anyone have a link to the East All-League announcement? I can't seem to find it on the ECAC site or here . . .

And what a pleasure it is to listen to the play-by-play for tonight's Skidmore / Babson game. Thanks for providing it WDEV.

It was the goalie (right in front of me) - I expected at the very least that NEC would get an extra penalty out of that scrum, but O'Brien's rules.

And just to clarify, because you were talking about "two ugly ones that could have been called on the Cadets and weren't-" the instance you were referring to was the NEC goalie/player hitting a Norwich player down on the ice. I am sure there were some calls missed against Norwich, and I do support the calls made against Norwich, we retaliated and got caught in 4 out of the 5 penalties called. The 5th penalty was a smart one, a trip from behind on Chad Anderson (I think it was him) that prevented a play from turning into a two on 0 break. And no, not a penalty shot penalty. But, I think the most blatant penalties missed were committed by NEC. And the called back goal was just awful.

No doubt that trip was a smart penalty, that was a close one - and, I agree, there were some really blatant 'missed' calls on NEC! and that called back goal - I made sure I let their goalie know he got lucky - :cool:

Like NEC, Skidmore and Babson came to play tonight for their lives. I am not sure I know who would be better to play against tomorrow night. Wick needs to be on their best, I know that much. Be tough Wick, no penalties and play the way you have done through out the season, intensive, intelligent hockey.:)

3-0 Babson on the open net with less than two minutes.
Perfect reprise of the Skidmore season: take it to the favored team for two periods, fail to score on good opportunities, lose it in the third.

Isn't that indicative of over-playing and burning out the top line?

#1 Norwich vs #2 Babson for the ECAC East championship, who would have thunk? I would have preferred Skidmore based on goalie stats, but what will be will be. Norwich needs to rest tonight and stick to their motto, one game at a time and one period at a time. I know they can do it, you are on your way to a championship, play smart:D

I didn't notice that the Czerkowicz line was used more than the others--playing time seemed pretty evenly distributed. And good chances came from other lines in this one. If Skidmore wasn't having a good scoring night--there were plenty of those games this season--it was unlikely they were going to win this year. Just like tonight. Still, I'm glad that they played as well as they did at the end of the season and in the playoffs.

Helluva game at Arrington. Lawrence played a good game, but it just wasn't enough.
