Injuries. Tech radio guys made it sound like Olson was being reserved for the playoffs since he didn't play against Sue last weekend, but a "reliable source" whom one of the posters here knows claimed that he is likely done until next fall. As far as I know, there is no word yet on Baker, but he left Saturday's game and did not return.

Geeez!! When it rains it pours eh? I saw Olson play a couple of weeks ago and besides a little temper tantrum he had he was one of the bright spots for that team. Tons au skill!!! Anyway, one thing we Denver fans have learned is to be cautious during this first weekend of the WCHA playoffs!

DU sweeps, but barely!!!

Fewer injuries than last season, but also less leadership on defense as well as younger goaltending. Hopefully the back end will make some progress next year.

And yeah, Olson and Gwilliam were the only consistent finishers we had for about half the year. Baker was absolutely snakebitten and didn't look like his sophomore self until the GLI.

I think minus Baker and Olson MTU goes down without much of a fight on the scoreboard.

Denver gets more wins than MTU gets goals this weekend.

Sadly, I'm not exaggerating. I fully believe this.

Tech has gone into the state of CO and pulled the #10 v #1 upset twice already. I think it is time for a third...

Also nice to meet up with Puckdiva, Flashy and tIGulk over the weekend who stopped by to check out the Tech jersey collection. Even pulled out a few NMU jerseys for Puck as a bit of equal opportunity.

If anyone else wants to stop by in the future you are certainly welcome to do so if you are passing through Central WI.

Only did the 10 - 1 once in 94

Haven't beat DU in a playoff series yet.

Still working on my tickets.

If this happened I couldn't tell you the joy I would have listening to all of the Tech fans, who insist the program should disband and give up any hope of ever winning again, trying to come to terms with what was going on.

Tickets should not be a problem this weekend. Tomorrow is the last day of the Winter quarter and finals are from Thursday thru Sunday. Proabably won't be a lot of DU students at the games due to the tests and the beginning of Spring break. The players will be juggling the games and finals at the same time. However, they are pretty adept at this as it happens every year in the Fall and Winter. During the Final Five DU will be on Spring break.
