Just discovered today that there's a Five Guys in Manchester, NH. Until today, all I knew was the nearest one was in Dedham, MA., quite a haul for a good burger. A bit pricey, but worth it.
There's a lot of grease in their gut bombs, but every once in a while, they're good. Amazing fries, and peanuts while you wait (which will be for quite some time).
The cajun fries are ridiculously good. Always remember to never order a large unless you're feeding an army.
the burgers are much better than the fries. you want good fries, find Val's in St, Clooud.
We walked right by 5 guys in DC, wanted to get there after all I heard on here but never did
Your heart thanks you.
5 Guys was started in the Virginia suburbs of DC and there are many in the area including one about a block west of the Verizon Center on H Street.
Yeah, there are a ton of them in NoVa. I can't imagine what they look like without all the Washingtonian Magazine "Best Of" pages in the foyer.
My wife and I ate at the one on H Street a couple weeks ago when I was in DC for business. Good burgers and very generous fries. I think I'd still take In-and-Out first, but Five Guys is good. Thankfully we have both here in Tempe. We walked right by 5 guys in DC, wanted to get there after all I heard on here but never did
I've had Five Guys once, and In-N-Out once. Not sure that's enough of a sample size to formulate an opinion other than they both are much better than McD/BK/etc. I just checked and there are two Five Guys in the Cities, one in St. Cloud, one in Duluth and one in Fargo. Of course, the nearest In-N-Out is in Utah...
One of the ones in the cities is in Edina. Been there many times for lunch. Good stuff. Still prefer Lion's Tap though.
Your heart thanks you.
