I gained 9 lbs since January, up to 229. I know I lost my way, so here's what I'm doing to get back on track:
1. Recommitting to 30-60 minutes of purposeful exercise 5-6 days a week. My job of collecting carts does not count.
2. Much less dining out, especially since trying to eat healthy at restaurants is a major disappointment. If there is a night I get home late, use the Crock Pot.
3. Dietitian and I agreed that monitoring was good, so I need to pay closer attention to the grocery list. Stop bringing bagels home, and buy smaller jars of peanut/nut butter for starters.
4. In terms of peanut butter, if I want that much fat, I should probably swap it out with an avocado or some guacamole.
5. Recommit to yoga and Pilates, especially since the cross training helps burn inches from my waist and hips.
6. And instead of trying to count every last calorie, I'm just going back to doubling down on fruits and vegetables, with some whole grains thrown in, as well as quality protein.
