I think you try to keep a steady crank rpm all the time, uphill, downhill etc, I use to try to keep it in the 90s, Tour de France guys in 120s, something like that anywayCracked 10.0 MPH on the bike today. One thing I'm doing to increase speed: whenever I see nothing but open path in front of me, I pedal as hard as I can.
