Though it pains me to say it, it's my pleasure Lawson.
That compliment is well earned, as You Guys have one of the Country's very best teams. Your defense is as good as i've seen at this level, in quite some time. Also, your forwards play Murray's pro style system very well. Overall, a most impressive performance by your guys.

Hopefully our guys will be better tomorrow, especially from a defensive standpoint.
We'll have to be, to have any shot of pulling out a win.

From a perspective of tonight's game only, i didn't see the physical play in the latter half of the game, as really having much impact.
Most of that took place after the outcome had already been decided, and was a reflection of that, along with the setting of the table for tomorrow night's game.

Hopefully the Saturday game will be exciting, and as a Ferris Alum and veteran fan, it would be awesome if the Bulldogs come out on top.

Ferris is my second favorite team in the CCHA and I wish you great success after tomorrow night and best wishes in the WCHA. I really hope that the CCHA rises again.

Czawnoczan get crushed from behind in the corner, and Western's grad assistants are saying he took a dive. Stay classy fellas and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Edit: Actually, listening to these guys is pretty funny. Between the four of them, they've probably watched less hockey than the average student in the student section. I'm surprised they're not yelling at the refs to throw a flag so they can shoot free throws.

Zarno must be a great diver; he's still not on the bench.

Speaking of dives, how about Warda laying on the ice until he realized his teammates started a line brawl after running Motte, and then he's suddenly ready to fight.

Lawson, you guys have way too good of a team to conduct yourself like that.
As i posted last evening, you guys were the better team on Friday, and an absolute elite squad, without a doubt.
However, our guys were the better team tonight, and are most deserving of your respect.

Not sure if you were the better team last night. It looked pretty even to me.

You did definitely outplay us in the shootout.

I wouldn't want to play you in the tournament.

Tough series. Sad to see the CCHA die. I shall miss the four games per season matchup.

Here's a tip for next year - You can fight in the WCHA, as long as your team is leaving the conference at the end of the season. In that case, some spineless league officials hoping to land in the B1G or NCHC won't call anything, so you'll like them better.

Any clue on what the OOC scheduling will look like next year? It would be great if we could keep playing WMU and MSU, and with their conference schedules being presumably smaller they will probably be looking for quite a few games. Based on proximity and their need for games is a 1-for-1 a realistic possibility?

Thoughts and prayers to Zach Redmond, who took a nasty cut during Jets practice. Surgery after taking a skate, cutting right femoral artery. All per NHL Network, just now.

Loved watching him play here at Ferris, right from the start. Get well soon, buddy.

It was a pleasure watching Redmond when Ferris came up to the Soo.

Your new recruit Van Wormer has a non stop motor you will love him in Big Rapids.

The Ferris St AD just said that next year MSU and FSU will play in a tournament in GR called something like the college hockey hall of fame classic (don't exactly remember the name). I would be surprised if this was something Western wasn't also involved in. The contract has yet to be signed though.

FSU and UM will play each of the next three years. 13/14 @UM, 14/15 @FSU, 15/16 @ UM.

He only mentioned those two series when specifically asked about playing the B1G teams in the future.
