You have 2 games in hand on most teams (unfortunately not Miami).

after 22 games in '02 - '03, Ferris was 16 - 5 - 1 just coming off a win and a tie against Notre Dame. They split the next 3 series against NMU, Miami, and UofM before going on a tear down the stretch for the regular season championship.

I would be satisfied with splitting the next 3 weekends.

I've been watching Notre Dame all year. Trust me, I'm not scratching my head. We're bad. Ferris is good. No surprise in seeing them sweep in South Bend.

What happened with Ouellette, and that little scrum in the 3rd? I couldn't tell, or hear anything due to the video feed. Will we be missing anyone against Miami due to suspension? This Miami weekend is going to be huge!!

Both Ouellette and Ruth will miss the next game. Ruth got the first game DQ I have seen for the grasping the facemask (the latest "point of emphasis" the NCAA will over react to for a year or two). And Ouellette actually got the less common game DQ instead of the more common game MC for his checking from behind penalty, also the first one of those I have seen this year, after seeing at least 4 or 5 game misconducts.

That might be just a little too much respect for my liking (See 2008 South Florida in college football) I'm surprised that Ferris jumped so many teams that either won or didn't play, however, I think Ferris has earned their ranking.

If memory serves me correctly, this is the highest Ferris has ever been ranked. Didn't they only reach 7th in '03?

They were 5th in the final poll that year, and might have gone as high as #4. They also finished 5th in the PWR, I think.

Geesh, first you cry that you don't get any respect. Then Ferris earns respect and you say that it's too much.

well, i saw the hit ouellette put in thee notre dame player, it was a hit that looked bad,butt having said that he was up instantly, he was not hurt, but if you look at the play seconds before that down in the ferris zone, you will see ouellette go down on 1 knee to block a shot from the point from that same player after he tok the shot he crosschecked ouellette in tthe face, no call,

I saw it once, but the video quality was horrible so I can't judge. I read Jackson was going to send the clip in to the league. That is probably why a game was added.

This is not that big of a deal. He has scored exactly 1 goal since the last Miami series 2 months ago and it was in an 8-1 beating of OSU. He has also only had 1 assist (Sunday). He started the season hot and has been cold for 2 months. Maybe this decision will light a fire under his ***** so he can play better down the stretch.
