To anyone driving out, does anyone want to meet at a certain place then head out together? I'm still working on this. When we go camping with friends, we carry the personal two way radios, not CBs but the walkie talkie type, makes it a better trip and if someone has problems, at least you can let the others know.

I think we should all try and drive out together...Maybe meet at the rest stop just out side of corning at say 7 or so...Leave by 7:30?

To those traveling to Adrian: Take the Ohio Turnpike (80/90) to Exit 59 (US20-North). Drive North until OH-2 (Airport Rd.) and turn left following signs to I-475/US23. Take US23 North towards Ann Arbor into Michigan. Get off on exit 5 (Blissfield/Adrian) once in Michigan onto 223 and turn left. 223 will take you right into the Adrian area. Once you see Wal-Mart on your left pay attention for McDonald's on the right. Turn right at the light (M52/Main St.). Head north on Main St. until you see Tim Horton's on your right. Fricker's on your left. Turn left at the light (Beecher/M34). Go to the second light, near Domino's, turn right (Madison St.). Madison will take you to campus in the neighborhood. Turn left as soon as you see the campus (Michigan Ave.). Arrington will be around the curve on your left.

This is honestly the quickest way to Adrian, instead of taking the freeways through Toledo.

Enjoy your trip to Adrian, its great campus, and arena. Good luck to both teams! Go Bulldogs!

Keep an eye on this thread, we may be going, not 100% yet but over 50%. Yes, meeting at the rest area neat Costa's airport on I86 sounds good. I would set a time and if no one shows, just head on out.

Just to let everyone know...Dont wait to long...From the sounds of things Tickets are going very quick.
Lady on the phone today couldnt belive how many EC fans were calling for tickets.

when i called at 10:30 or so the lady told me that there was only about 80 tickets left for ec fans to get

So who is going to the game Saturday?
What time is everyone leaving?
Does anyone want to drive out as a group?

Im going with at least 2 others.
We are leaving between 7:30-8:00 am on Saturday.
We are thinking of meeting anyone who wants to drive out at Wegmans in Corning at 7:30 or so and leave no later than 8am.

If your intrested let me know...

Bayliner 255 had the easyest directions I have seen.
ROUTE---Stay on I/90 for two exits past Toledo. Exit at DELTA exit. After toll booth turn left on Ohio 109 which will turn into
M-52 at the Michigan State Line. M-52 becomes South Main St. when you get to Adrian.

WATERING HOLES---APPLEBEE's-1396 S. Main St. (M-52) Note--No poles in Adrian
GARFIELDS- 1357 S. Main St. "
Fricker's - 720 S. Main St. "

TO ARENA-----From S. Main St. turn left on Beecher St. (Walgreens, Wendys, Midas Muffler, Sunoco) at the light. Go West on Beecher St two traffic lights to Madison Street. Turn right and go about six blocks to Michigan Ave. Turn left and you are on campus. Michigan to Charles where you have to turn right. Arrington Arena will be on your left.

This will also get you into the Restaurant district on your way into town.

Hello from an Adrian fan - seats are sold out and standing room is going fast! If you haven't called to get your tickets, you should do it today. Have a safe drive!

GOOD LUCK EC!!!! GO Soaring Eagles!!! Hope everyone From Elmira has a Safe trip. Hope it is a GREAT game and Best team wins!! Albert will be keeping me updated! ENJOY and hope to see you all in Minn.;)

lukem - We're trying to head-out a bit earlier, but I'm sure you'll pass us along the way! :)

In the discussion/chat room last night, it was mentioned that Fricker's was probably the best place for a pre-game meet-n-greet, so we're shooting to get there in-time to put-down some dinner and hopefully meet-up with some of the Adrian folks as well.

Just a heads up to everyone…I just called Adrian for Ticket info and they said they have only 6 single tickets left in the Elmira section and very few standing room only tickets left.

So if anyone was still looking at going you better call soon…

Again box office number is (517) 265-5161 ext 5011

So that means Elmira has used all 200 of their tickets? If so, I must say im quite surprised that a group that large is willing to travel to 500 miles!

Good stuff.

Considering the Adrian box office was selling the Elmira section tickets over the phone, I wonder how many yellow and black shirts will be seen in that section come Saturday?
