Re: Election Results Thread

Going chalk on Google's live election results still leaves Hillary short. By 39.

Re: Election Results Thread

I guess I was too. I don't know how many times someone referred to "that Notre Dame Hockey guy" with some sort of bedwetting comment, usually Rover but a couple of others too. Rover's smugness in these threads approached Old Pio levels occasionally, just from the other side of the aisle.

where is rover?

@petershankman: Not joking: Canada's Immigration site just crashed. #Elections2016

They added immigration staff in preparation for this election. Seriously. Much more than in elections past, when they always add a few people to field inquiries from the drama queens.

Re: Election Results Thread

This is the single most surprising result I've seen all night.

The 4th has Woodbury, and those suburbs generally report earlier than the bigger cities themselves. I expect it to flip, but will be tighter than anyone had a reason to believe.

Re: Election Results Thread

For the first time in my life, I don't believe in my country anymore.

I know this is dramatic and overstated, but I don't. The racists, the sexists, and the demagogues have won.

I'm in the same boat. I don't believe in any of it.

Same.

It looks like we need a miracle now to save us.

When fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in a YUUUUGE flag, and wearing an orange toupee. ;)

Roe v Wade overturned? LOL. Don't be daft. Americans are stupid, the courts are not.

The dems just blew their best chance to get a liberal court for the first time in 2 generations. Kennedy will remain the swing vote for now as a moderating force, but if someone else does, all bets are off.

Re: Election Results Thread

He's America right now. He's us. That's what gave us these results.

Then America is a fukwad.

The only consolation in this thing is seeing the Trump supporters a couple years from now, when they see the travesty this guy has made of the country and their lives. It'd be enjoyable if all the rest of us weren't stuck in the same boat with them.

Me too. We never learned from history.

CNN is reminding us about what Moore said...Michael Moore looks to be right.

Michigan is tightening...its under 15k votes.
