EcacWest 2012-13 Predicion.
1. Neumann
2.Nazareth
3.Utica
4.Elmira
5.Hobart
6.Manhattanville
The 4,5 and 6 spots are really a toss up. Actually, the entire division is more of a toss up than a puzzle on Wheel of Fortune.
Did you mean to put Nazareth in the two spot? Bold...do you know something the rest of us don't?![]()
I'm as clueless about them as you are for this upcoming season! I just believe they will surprise the hell out of everyone.![]()
In that vein:
1. Elmira
2. Hobart
3. M'ville
4. Nazareth
5. Neumann
6. Utica

Even though Utica has moved to reserved seating this year,
Hopefully in a good way. You will now buy a ticket with a seat number. I don't know, but I would guess that there are a block of seats behind the visitor's bench which are set aside for visiting fans. I will try to find out this week. How will this affect visiting fans?
How will this affect visiting fans?
^^^ I'd take that bet.
Their attendance would really have to drop drastically for them not to lead the nation. I thought they averaged just over 3,000 a game? Is their another school that even averages 2,000? Norwich? I know there's no team that does in the western region anyways...
Yea...I don't see over 1,000 people leaving Utica....
The seating will be doled-out arbitrarily by the thoroughly disingenuous POS that is TicketBastard, and that has never worked-out for me, in other venues. (Is there a less consumer-friendly entity than that one, this side of Verizon?)
I predict that casual fans will stay away after being assigned nosebleed seats for no apparent reason, or after being unable to find a block of seats to house a family... People won't be able to walk up at the last minute and expect to sit in any available seat anymore, and that's going to hurt attendance mightily, once word gets around. Visiting fans will suffer similar treatment, no doubt.
This arrangement is going to be a disaster, IMO. UC (or The Aud, or both) has someone asleep at the wheel.
I have my season tickets, so it won't effect me, but it's an incredibly stupid decision to treat Utica hockey as though you are holding it hostage to a legion of rabid D-3 fans; about half of the attendees at any particular game are just there because there's nothing else to do in that decrepit burg. I'll be stunned if the average locals agree to jump through hoops to gain entry to UC games... At least 45% of them appear to go just to drink beer and walk around aimlessly.
If the current deal stays put, Utica will certainly NOT lead the nation in attendance this year.
You heard it here first!
Ah, you know it's getting close to October 15 whenI don't think it will "effect" anyone - it may affect some people, but effect (which means cause when used as a verb), I don't think so![]()
