ECAC Quarterfinals -- RPI @ Union (3/9, 3/10 and maybe 3/11)

Re: ECAC Quarterfinals -- RPI @ Union (3/9, 3/10 and maybe 3/11)

Friday & Saturday officials.........OFFICIALS: Friday’s officials are Peter Feola and Chip McDonald (referees) and Jim Briggs and Richard Patry (linesmen) ... On Saturday, the referees are Bob Ritchie and Scott Whittemore ... The linesmen are Brad Leblanc and Joe Testa............http://rpiathletics.com/documents/2012/3/7/2011-12MHKYGameNotes_UNION_PLAYOFFS.pdf

I just don't have much positive or negative feelings about these pairings. Either my memory is failing or they have been mostly unnoticed-which is the way hockey officials should be. I sure hope these linesmen know what icing is these days and watch the offsides carefully. And please-let them be able to drop the puck without tossing every second player out of the faceoff.;)

I don't have any strong feelings about those pairings, either. I just hope they let both teams play and avoid ticky tack calls.

Good luck to you guys. Should be an outstanding series....sort of wish I could be there..."whole lot of Messa going on". If you play as you did in H'ton and Ithaca, you should have no worries.

RPI is going to be staying in a hotel this weekend. Sounds like a good idea or maybe Appert's just in the doghouse with the Mrs. ;)

These games are now technically tomorrow night. The wait is almost over.

Considering the Mrs. knew he was going to do that before Coach got home from CCT...

I'm a little worried about Friday. Saturday I'm fine.

Noticed that Saturday's game is now sold out entirely. Still standing room tickets for Friday (518-388-6020).

Still can get actual sets for the potential game on Sunday.

I'm going on Saturday! That way I can be a nervous wreck in Schenectady instead of in Boston.

Speculation on the Union thread that they're getting a defenseman back this weekend.

Judging by the user name, I'm guessing it's Ryan Forgaard.
