If being close to the bottom of the list is the worst thing that happens to me this year-I would still be a pretty happy fellow. What bothers me is that every year, Jenny makes these ridiculous picks and she always ends up being ahead of me. She and i have our own little side bet and this year it could cost me the purchase of some very expensive jewelry!

Two weeks to go and The Random Number has been overtaken by Go Puckman for the contest lead. The Fan Average has risen to 32nd. TcherBill has replaced cudmud for last and once again no matter what happens as the standings change, the good Doc is still behind Jenny.

I think that all of us RPI fans are. Considering that I picked Cornell and Harvard as 1 and 2, it's amazing that I am in the upper half of the listing. I think that we all should run random number generators next season.Even though most of my picks were way off, I'm completely OK with how the standings are working out right now

Some interesting tid bits about the contest.
I only have kept the stats back to the 2002-2003 season. This was the first year I ran the contest with the current scoring system.
If Go Puckman can hold on to the lead, he (she) will be the first 2 time winner of the contest.
If TchrBill can hold on to last place he will be the first contestant that has finished both first and last in the contest
If The Random Number can overtake Go Puckman it can likewise be the first contestant that has finished both first and last (3 times)
If cudmud can overtake TchrBill for last, he (she) will be the first 2 time last place finisher other than The Random Number
Lowest winning score was 26 points by Red Cloud who retired from this contest after that win.
The prior highest winning total to date is 128 by Tchrbill.
As to DrDemento vs JennyRN, JennyRN has beaten the Doc 6 times and there has been 1 tie over the last 10 years.

Actually I have done better here than in most other things. I don't even expect to win here at home. I consider a tie like winning the Super Bowl in this house.

Tied at the top are The Random Number and Go Puckman. cudmud has replaced TcherBill for last with only 2 points separating them. The Fan Average has risen to 30th. The good Doc has an 18 point deficit to make up on Jenny. Don't forget, next Sunday our Champion will be Crowned and all of us losers can enter the ECAC Pick The Playoffs contest .

Congrats to the Quinnipiac Bobcats for their first Regular Season ECAC Championship and congrats to our first two time winner Go Puckman, with the highest winning total in the programs history. The Random Number faded to the 24th spot. cudmud has become a two time last place finisher. The Fan Average ended in 26th. The good Doc could not make up the 18 point deficit to Jenny so open up the wallet and pay up Doc.
Congrats to TimU and GoldenBear who had the most correct finishes at 3. Harvard and Cornell by far cost contestants the most points and Union the least. Attached shows the average points each team cost the contestants in the contest.
