The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
OK Round 2 is ready for action. Round 2 is played EXACTLY LIKE Round 1.
You get a point for picking the correct winner of the series and a point for each correct total wins for each team. Max 2nd round point total per series is 4.
If Union wins 2-0 and you pick them to win 2-0 you get 4 points, 1 for Union as the winner, 2 for each Union win and 1 for picking RPI to not win a game.
If Union wins 2-1 and you pick them to win 2-0 you get 3 points
If Union wins 2-0 and you pick RPI to win 2-1 you get 1 point
If Union wins 2-0 and you pick RPI to win 2-0 you get 0 points.
So here are the 2nd round matchups: PLEASE KEEP YOUR PICKS IN THIS EXACT ORDER AS IT IS EASIER FOR ME TO ENTER THESE IN MY EXCEL SPREAD SHEET TO KEEP SCORE.
#10 RPI at #1 Union
#9 Dartmouth at #2 Cornell
#6 Yale at #3 Harvard
#5 Quinnipiac at #4 Colgate
Example Pick
Union 2-1
Cornell 2-0
Harvard 2-0
Colgate 2-1
You have until 7PM Friday night to get your picks in. Good luck.
Vic: I figured it out-Jen gets her picks in before me-forcing me to make different picks that i would have for fear of just agreeing with her. She just did it to me again 5 minutes ago. I would normally get upset-but I can't-she is too cute and I love her cooking.
#10 RPI at #1 Union: RPI has nothing to lose. Union has everything to lose, but would actually behoove them (from a tournament perspective) to blow it. RPI in three.
#9 Dartmouth at #2 Cornell: No brainer here. Cornell sweeps.
#6 Yale at #3 Harvard: Oh, look who's pla- wait, what? Playoff series can't end in a tie? Alright. Given where it is, and what happened on national TV, Harvard in three.
#5 Quinnipiac at #4 Colgate: There's a little bit of weird history behind this pick, so I'll go for it: Q-Pac in three.
