Lots of physical play from both teams ... The UND fans appear to think each and every hit is a penalty ... :16 left in the 1st.

I missed the beginning of the period, but the announcers are saying that the Q started out strong and UND picked it up as the period went along. From the point I joined in, I saw UND controlling a lot of the play. The Q had their moments and had a few good chances to even it up, but nothing yet.

2nd period has been underway for a little bit now ... Still 1-0 UND with 14:42 to go ... Faceoff in the Q zone.

Penalties to both Q and UND as the physical play has increased and the building is now rocking! Great representation for the Sioux!!

GOAL! Shorthanded 2x1 for UND and they burry it to make it 3-0 with 10:05 to go in the 2nd period!!

8:35 to go in the 2nd period and it's still 3-0 UND ... I don't give the Q much of a chance at this point with as well as UND has been playing. It's definitely not looking good!

Another penalty is being called. This one is on the Q ... UND is headed back to the PP ... 8:00 to go in the 2nd period ... 3-0 UND leads it!
