PP is over as the Q has killed the penalty ... 6:20 to go in the 2nd period now ... Still 3-0 UND

Faceoff in the Q zone as Garteig holds on to the puck with the Sioux pressuring!

No sooner do I say nothing going on does a mini brawl break out in front of the UND goaltender as the Q forwards plow into him ...

Oh boy, looks like they called two on the UND player and it's a full 4:00 PP for the Q coming up. Much to the delight of the crowd as you can imagine! ;)

Nice save by McIntyre as the Q puts a little bit of pressure on ... 4:50 to go in the 2nd ... Still 3-0 UND!

Shorthanded bid for Caggulia (Sp?) and it's deflected and into the net over Garteig ... Faceoff in the Q zone with 4:20 to go in the 2nd and 2:55 in the PP!

The Q starting to apply some sustained pressure in the UND zone and a very nice poke check puts the puck down to the other end ... 1:20 to go in the PP, 2:30 to go in the 2nd!

Penalty is over and UND has killed it off and are back to full strength ... Faceoff in the UND zone with 1:23 to go in the 2nd period ... 3-0 UND leads it!

Garteig with the save and the faceoff will be in the Q zone with 19.6 to go in the 2nd period and UND still leading it 3-0 ... TV timeout now!

UND appeared to have stepped it up a notch in that 2nd period and the Q seems to be a bit off tonight. They have had their share of opportunities, but they have also had their fair share of mistakes as well! Gotta shore up the defense and take advantage of any opportunity you get to make this a game. They need one early in the 3rd if they want some hope ...

I'm hoping Connor Clifton's OK. That looked scary.

If Q was asking for a miracle, they got their only shot right now.

Q scores. 3-1. 1:30 to go. Q will still have the pp + the extra skater once they get possession.
