ECAC First Round, Sunday

Re: ECAC First Round, Sunday

Rick Carden has very quietly had an excellent series. I'm glad he was rewarded with a goal.

Re: ECAC First Round, Sunday

Clarkson didn't even try to do anything but counterpunch for the last five minutes. I think they just sat back too much.

Re: ECAC First Round, Sunday

I agree Tim. Playing not to lose instead of trying to win the **** thing.

Re: ECAC First Round, Sunday

3:00 left, SLU controlling play by a great margin this period, as tim said, Clarkson was content to just try to let time tick away.

Re: ECAC First Round, Sunday

OH MY.

Vermuelen digs it out behind the net, flips it out front, and McKenzie puts it in.

WOW.

Re: ECAC First Round, Sunday

What a revolting development ;) .

Vic, looking at this game from your vantage point, Clarkson played such a good game tonight and it's a shame that they went into a shell with the lead.

From our point of view, it's really nice that Mike McKenzie got that goal. He had a very rough weekend and played - and put up numbers - through it all.

Why a poor defensive team would try to go into a shell, I really do not know.

Karpowich had a phenomenal series, could be a coming-of-age kind of thing for him. Next year we'll see something good out of him for sure.
