Yale once again gets put down to men in the last minute of the period and again SLU scores, this time with half a second left. this time on a third chance rebound attempt for Vermeulen.
6-5 Yale after 2.
Allain emptied the Yale bench as the goal was being reviewed and then after Hicks ruled it a goal and put .5 on the clock for the faceoff, 5 skaters and a goalie ran out of the Yale locker room for the draw.
SLU will carry-over 1:44 of the second penalty to the third to try and tie it on another deja vu goal

Slu somehow stays one down in the new haven shootout. Donald got an unsportsmanlike at the end after mason took the draw to just hit the slu player in the head uncalled. Slu will remain on the 5x3 for 1:44. The refs have lost control and are struggling to regain it. Tisi still playing a great game despite the score.
