Ecac,2/19/2010

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

SLU will have a carry-over PP for the first 1:31 of the second. After starting out the period with a 13-0 shot advantage, the period finished 7-7. Blase not looking to good for Yale, but can't really say any of the goals were his fault. Were it not for Tisi, it probably would have been 4-0 Yale after seven minutes.

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

Richter playing very well tonight. Still scoreless, with Cornell peppering the net.

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

Maricic not in net for Yale, but SLU scores on their first shot against him to take their first lead 4-3. Mckenzie on the PP

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

Harvard has no chance to win this game....Harvard forececking with one forward allowing Cornell to bring the puck out of the zone at will.

Playing not to lose....yeah, that's Harvard hockey

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

McIntyre gets one back on the power play! Now credited to Smith on a deflection!

5-4 Dartmouth, 5 minutes into the second

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

Backman ties it for Yale at 5:50. Deflects a shot from Limbert next to the net, the puck kicks up in the air and he bats it in

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

cornell outshooting harvard 21-8. even with the 2 goals, richter's saving the crimson so far.

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

Yale takes the lead back at 8:05 of the second on the PP. Each team now with 2 PP goals. Little saucered a pass from the goal line diagonally over the defense in the slot to Peel at the top of the left wing circle from where he buries his second goal of the game on a wrister glove side

Re: Ecac,2/19/2010

Now 6-4 Yale. Finally a two-goal lead in this one. Backman pass from the right-wing half wall to find O'Neill on the back doorstep
