Buccigross and Melrose are announcing this like this is a huge upset. It's a 2-3 matchup, it's not like it's a 1-16 game.

That being said, Providence is making a strong physical presence and Gillies (?sp) has been VERY impressive.

OMG me either.

If PC pulls this game out, who is going to tell Buccigross he's pronouncing Nate Leaman's name incorrectly? I have yet to hear my faux little brother/nephew/kid's name so he may not be playing. Or maybe he is and neither of those two guys want to take a stab at how to pronounce it.

Melrose is horrible. The Lowell fans taunted him in Bridgeport two years ago. Butchers his analysis, calls schools the wrong name, etc. It's like he just punches the clock and doesn't even care to learn or be accurate.

The guys both love hockey but Buccigross is not a play-by-play guy at all and Melrose just doesn't talk about anything interesting. I wish Canada would let us borrow Bob McKenzie for a couple of weekends.

i know union is very good but this is confirming whst i think we already knew...ecac just not as good top to bottom as hockey east

Quinnipiac has lost all control. Jones gets called for a questionable charging penalty and then PC scores, he comes out of the box, runs his mouth and goes right back with a 10 minute misconduct.

Providence up 4-0 in total control. Gillies looking strong and converting on their chances

Nice work Providence!!!! We need 1 HE team in there battling. Hopefully QU cleans it up so you don't get any bad injuries.
