Coyotes draft pick and Michigan Jr. Chris Brown signs with Phoenix.

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

As they should be. You are getting one hell of a right wing. Good hands, great shot, and is an extremely quick skater. His defensive game isn't bad by any means, but he is more an offensive minded guy.

Agreed. And he's not afraid to get physical either, heck of a player - glad the Gophs won't have to deal with him in the last season of the WCHA.

Class Act.

I can't think of any team that wouldn't want JT. Kid is an offensive wizard with remarkable speed. Not to mention he'll learn from Stammer, St. Louis, etc for a few years as well. Some very great players on and off the ice.

JT looked incredible last night. I hope others had a chance to see him play against Washington. He definitely made things happen when he was on the ice.

That move behind the net last night was pretty slick.

Anyway, the kid looked good Saturday night too. It may be a bit premature, but two games in he looks like he could be a very good NHL player.

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

Fighting Sioux Sophomore Forward Brock Nelson signs entry level contract with the Islanders.

The list is helpful, is there a way to format/abbreviate so its one line of text per player?

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

He'll certainly develop more and faster with the Islanders than he ever could at UND.

Gees Scooby you didn't even put a smiley face on this. Sounds like sour grapes after Garth Snow made it a point to pull Okposo in and stated the same thing. Or are you Garth Snow in disguise?

Heck we all know North Dakota is an NHL factory and develops kids to play in the pros. I guess Nelson and the Islanders thought he was ready.

Personally I thought he needed another year of development but good luck to Brock.

Look everyone, I caught a fish. Small though. Probably a bullhead. ;)

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

The race is on. Which college team will likely be hurt the most by early departures?
