Early Departures - 2012 Edition

Those who have decided "to forgo their final x year(s) of eligibility" or your Pretty Solid Guesses (or you are in tune with the WOTS grapevine) as to who will jump. :)

For example, if your player has an entire thread named after him, that's a flag, isn't it?

Total speculation, as there hasn't been much press one way or the other, but I would be quite suprised if Reilly Smith (Dallas) is wearing a Miami sweater next fall.

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

tsn.ca is reporting that the Niagara Soph. free agent forward Scott Arnold has signed with Phoenix.

A sophomore and a free agent ... signing with an NHL team. I confess to knowing very little about him, but nothing really stands out about him. Decent size but 18 points in 33 games - I wonder what his situation was.

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

Bruins draft pick and Lake Superior State Jr. Zach Trotman signs with Boston.

Re: Early Departures - 2012 Edition

Michigan State junior free agent d-man Torey Krug to the Boston Bruins.

Wohlberg just finished his senior year. Don't you remember from last spring the awesome thread you started about the Michigan team primed to plummet down the standings as it was losing a big senior class, combined with an unknown freshman class and the potential for many underclassmen like Brandon Burlon to turn pro?
