Dump Term 2 Part 5: He Didn't Specify Which Civilization Would Die...

Fix the problem where a CEO thinks they're worth 300x more than their lowest paid employee, and where banks are giving them massive "lifestyle loans" based on the value of the company stock that they hold to evade taxes and claim their net worth. All the sharks living off of such loans become big paper tigers and liabilities for the banksters if they're unable to control their stock's price through manipulative means. Quit letting them easily do buybacks, get IPO rules changed, and all the other shit they do to artificially inflate/prop up the stock price and this patently corrupt system will collapse.

Oh wait, that requires having politicians who aren't bought and paid for thanks to lobbying and Citizens United. Yeah, we're fucked.
Yep. All that. And that's where we have failed. But, alas, the socialism fraud in Minnesota is a WAY WAY WAY WAY bigger problem. And this all tracks back to Reagan. Reagan destroyed my country and I will never get it back.

Which brings us to the middle. Somehow the Middle in the United States has adopted the socialism is bad mantra, but has failed to see the problems on the other side as dangerous. Thus, the thing that does not exist right now is the boogeyman, while the serial killer standing right next to everyone in the same room is invisible.

It's absolutely amazing the lies rural America were fed and believed. Socialism is the Devil, they were taught. Meanwhile I personally grew up watching those same Republican voters gladly accept farm aid and bailouts, beg for state and federal funding to cap / fence off abandoned mining property (Capitalism!), beg kids not to skip school head count day, ask kids who were eligible to fill out the free school lunch form (despite being capable of paying for lunch) to help the school get more funding, have two economic development firms open up in town with the intent of assisting the city and county in grant writing for various funds. And I watched three neighboring small villages merge into one town just to pool emergency and government resources.

And then in the next breath, be told that it's those inner city welfare queens that are hogging all the funds causing us hardship.

Ignoring the fact that people in town were themselves the welfare queens claiming disability yet on the golf course or buying new ATV's to ride on their property.

Leaving town, going to college, and experiencing the inner city first hand quickly exposed my hometown as a bunch of lies.

It's not socialism when it's doled out to righteous white social conservatives and their children. It IS socialism when it's doled out to the brown and liberal hordes.

The doublethink is strong with MAGAts.

In the words of wise philosopher Stewart,
"Programs that help the poor, the disadvantaged or minorities are too expensive, destroying America and need to be ended as soon as possible.
Programs that benefit the wealthy, affluent or major corporations are worth the cost, make America stronger and should continue indefinitely."

Spoiler for the new Spiderman movie ahead

One of the criticisms of the story is that after all the devastation she caused, Jean Grey is let completely let off the hook and receives no punishment for her crimes.

We have a child rapist war criminal as president, who has never faced any consequences for his numerous crimes, so I'd say it tracks with reality...
