President Donald Trump on Sunday confirmed Giuliani was hospitalized, in a post that took political shots at Democrats.

"Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING! They cheated on the Elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did anything possible to destroy our Nation, and now, look at Rudy. So sad!" Trump added.

I was joking about Cheeto's ramblings about him "passing" a dementia test with a coworker today, and had an odd thought:

- Why exactly is he being given these dementia exams to begin with? Like, how does he not have a personal quack to say "All is fine!" with the Cheeto?

Like, this just seems odd for how the rest of the administration interacts with Cheeto Von Fukstik... Who actually has the power to force this one through? And should his health actually go South, is there a chance we would know about it?

As we saw before, I really do believe if he does have a major issue, he'll just go dark/quiet for a few days and nothing will happen till people start to question it and call him out. Last time, he went a few days without a peep, so there is precedent here.

So why the premptiveness with the cognitive exam?
