For many of us, tonka is only second to Edina for cakeeaters. I don't know a single person outside of tonka who will root for them.

I love curt giles and josh harding, but that doenst make anyone cheer for edina haha

That was tongue-in-cheek - I know there's not a lot of love out there for Tonka despite them being a somewhat mid-program when it comes to titles and under Goldy playing a clean game that's fun to watch.

I see AP reporting on the detainee calls that show suicides, and Mother Jones reporting that staff bet on them. I do not see AP confirming Mother Jones story.

Mother Jones is an excellent resource but it is advocacy and it has been known to run stories that fit the agenda. AP, once you allow standard US corporate media bias, is much more careful about confirming stories with evidence.

I would like to pass the story on -- it is all too believable -- and was about to, but I need more than MJ's say-so.

I saw the same MJ source hours ago, then saw an AP one a few mins ago, and of course now I've closed the tabs. For the same reason - I also don't trust MJ as the source
