Outside of St. Louis county, the GOO has really preyed on the miners, blaming the DFL for environmental rules that put them out of business rather than the automotive industry dispersing manufacturing away from an only Detroit thing. And the majority of the rest up north are still the gun nuts. Meanwhile the farmers in southern and western reaches of the state can’t figure out that they’re currently getting what they voted for.
