Cornell is cancelling a distinguished professor's classes on Gaza and suspending him because of the complaints of a student who previously served in Israel's military surveillance agency and was literally recording the comments of other students in class and deliberately derailing discussion.

He told the truth while under oath. Unfortunately, Comey's version of the truth does not match up with pen*s head's version.

Hopefully, indictment doesn't mean conviction in this case. I am trying to keep the faith in the justice system, but sometime it is just too d*mn hard.

That tracks with the stuff leaking out of the Pentagon...apparently the roids are getting to Kegseth.
 
The GOP has a clean sweep of the government. I will grant that every Dumpy will blame us, but that is only a third of country. Every one of the other two-thirds are going to blame them and we're going to have Midterm Buyers' Remorse on steroids.

I believe Handy pointed out the cliff effect of redistricting to steal seats: it robs Peter to pay Paul so if a wave election happens it makes the results worse for the incumbent party.

All of this assumes we still have free and fair elections, of course. It might just all be in the bag already and they don't care. Those troops are in cities as dress rehearsal after all.
 
A bunch of us were talking about that around here...but that was only really relevant in Texas. The GOP is now trying that everywhere and the truth is, if they get it done the Dems can't really make any headway. California offsets Texas but the Dems have no answer for Missouri and Indiana. It will take a wave election to take the House back because the GOP is stacking the deck and the Dems have no answer.

And as of now I dont think there will be buyers remorse because the Dems are flat out losing the messaging battle full stop. The GOP has handed them all of the issues but Dem Leadership would rather sit on their hands waiting for their "Republican Friends" to help then actually do something. (Schumer said as much on Sunday) The GOP is out there telling the world (and the media is backing them up) that the Dems are the ones behind all of this because they wont make a deal. People are buying it to because they are the only ones talking. The GOP is even sidestepping blame on the economy...this whole thing is political malpractice.

When the Dems cave the Midterms will be lost for good.
