Dump Term 2, Part 2: "A third term would be a big shattering."

Tangential story: my mom stole a guy’s walker at least once. She was in her memory care home at the time, and my brother was visiting. As they were talking, my mom stood up, walked across the room as the man’s back was towards her, and moved his walker around the corner.

My brother said to her, “Mom, that wasn’t nice!”
She replied, “I know, but it was funny!”

I wish there was a way to do it in Minnesota, but with the vastness out here in the land of Rocks and Cows, I just don't see how it could be drawn to guarantee a Blue majority. If you dilute the Twin Cities and Duluth/Rochester areas, can you get enough blue voters into districts to offset the Red Hats in the outstate? I would love to see Emmer, Fischbach and Stauber gone. And, I think in Minnesota, there is a bi-partisan, non-legislative committee that has to sign off on any redistricting (I think MN voted that in a couple of elections ago).

New York, California and Illinois are probably the best bets to try and maximize the blue numbers. Not sure what their redistricting guidelines/committees are.

One does wonder how lying became the natural political discourse.

Dump's great contribution to American political science is he exposed that truth and character do not matter. It is purely a matter of indoctrination of voters, bribery of the President, and intimidation of Congress.

Trump is wandering on the roof of the White House:

Biden was forced by clowns like George Clooney to drop out because he walked away from the podium while Obama spoke and the media wouldn't let it go. Imagine if he did this...

No secret service up there either.

His great contribution to humanity is he has set it back 75 years.

He's going for 750.

Wait. I'm a Lord in this set up. Where's my droit du seigneur?

Because many people would rather be lied to, than admit the truth. They want to believe in manufacturing & heavy industry moving back to the US, rather than admit they need to retrain for a new line of work. Or they lack the money to retrain, but along comes this loudmouthed guy who says he's gonna force American companies bring back blue collar labor! Sounds a lot better to believe in than to admit, "I'm a Walmart wage slave who can't afford schooling".

Two weeks in mainland Europe just finished and ….yep, lots of hate
Did you feel the hate as an American, or is there cognizance that many of us are fighting it tooth and nail?

If I saw a Russian here I wouldn't assume they were a Putinite. In fact, if they were here quite the opposite. The vast majority of Americans traveling in Europe, or anywhere overseas, want to see this regime thrown on the ash heap of history with all the other fascists.

Heard Dump on CNBC this morning, and seeing clips from Aaron Rupar confirms the exasperation I heard from all three Squawk Box hosts.

When Joe Kernen thinks its a bridge too far and tries to redirect the messaging... 😳
