It is worth mentioning that, despite what sentient pumpkin believes, the European Union is one giant trade block - he can't do a trade deal with each individual country. Angela Merkel tried repeatedly to drill that into his addled brain, but it never took.

His latest "truth" is saying that gas and grocery prices are down and eggs are 'plentiful' and down 87%

Don't know what country he's talking about, but it's not here. Eggs are still being rationed at my grocery store (although prices have stabilized but sure as hell aren't down 87%) and gas prices have increased even as oil prices have plunged.

I really think the mush that used to be his brain is so messed up that he accepts whatever he is told and it gets all twisted in his head. That's why he thinks "asylum seekers" are escapees from insane asylums, he won 9-0 in the Supreme Court, and on and on. If someone tells him the moon is actually made of cream cheese he will believe it and repeat it to his cult followers (who will also believe it and attack anyone who disagrees).

Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr., Cheney and Bush Jr. all lied like this.

The GOP has been post-fact for 60 years. Dump just doesn't even bother with the smokescreen. He understands the frog has boiled and Republican voters will swallow anything. They have 80 million violent, closed-minded, hyped-up drones who vote, and that is power.

I don't think they need much manipulating or convincing. He lets them know that it's ok for them to be the worst possible version of themselves, and they're ok with that. All they needed was for someone to tell them it's ok, and they're all in.
