And my current evidence is NOTHING that he has done since taking office has taken hold. He's defied the Courts, no one cares. He's tanked the economy, no one cares. He's gutted Health and Human Services, no one cares. He's all but destroyed Social Security, no one cares.

What do I mean by no one cares? Simple. There is more outrage registered in the overall public landscape over Barack Obama wearing a tan sujt than anything that has occurred since January 20th 2025.

The Senator is right. I'll take it a step further and say that they also don't deserve to call themselves Americans. Due process is a fundamental right that we grant to all accused, even non-citizens.

Yep. I mean I get it they knew that a Black Woman was going to be painted as a crazy socialist who wants open borders and drug dealers on every corner with weekly trans surgery giveaways on live TV...so they ran away from that in the hopes that any Leftists they bled would be offset by Never Trumpers and Women. Well Women disappointed, the Never Trumpers weren't as big as hoped and a lot of the Left chose to not vote either over Gaza Policy or because the idea of Liz Cheney being part of the campaign made them throw up in their mouth. (the media didn't help in this regard...they were willfully ignorant on Harris' policies and looked for reasons to tear her and Walz down to seem "fair")

The Dems are like that coach who only pays attention to the metrics and analytics and not what is going on right in front of them. Yes maybe the numbers show going for it on 4th down is a good idea but the game itself may be showing you otherwise. This isn't a simulation this is real life and gut feeling matters.

I mean look at things now, it is obvious the Pod Save crowd and the Ezra Kleins of the world are telling Newsom and other Dems to ignore the immigration issue and focus on the economy because Trump is polling +3 on immigration but is tanking on economic issues. (which used to be his bread and butter) And in a vacuum sure that makes sense. But when you see old people in Iowa yelling at Grassley over Trump ignoring the Supreme Court and how due process matters you can't just pretend Garcia or "One Venezuelan Hairdresser" as an anonymous Dem House Member said, isn't something the people are willing to fight for. Don't ignore your base to try and woo others. Lead your base and the others might just follow!
