Dump Term 2, 1.01: Sleep Now in the Fire

Yeah, a recent study out of Sweden has shown that when you look at the diagnostic criteria of autism, numbers of actual people with autism haven’t seen an increase over time. It’s only recently we put a name on it and defined the constellation of diagnosis criteria. Which, may seem obvious, but I don’t think it was very clear that rates haven't changed. For all we know, it was/is an exposure thing.

On the other hand, it’s possible it’s just a roll of the dice. I saw another study come out that ADHD may have a link to the mother having gestational diabetes. The chemistries are just so damn complicated.
When RFK and his ilk pushed the vaccine/autism crap 20 years ago they took out the chemicals that the crackpot said were the root cause and guess what...nothing changed.

You know if he wants to do something positive about Autism he shouldnt be firing people, he should be asking Congress for more money and attempt a moon shot on Autism. That's the only way we're going to progress on the issue.

If there truly is a higher power, Musk will take Brain Worm's comments personally and start a vendetta against him.

Like, just start ripping apart HHS and anything under him. And have them start verbally jousting.

But our timeline is fucked, so nothing will happen...

I think there was a study quite a while ago that stated that the reason we had so much violent crime over a period of time, I can't recall the exact years, was due to lead paint. Every kid growing up lived in a home or apartment where the walls were painted with lead paint. And that lead being absorbed into their system for 18, 22 years, is what caused so many of them to commit violent crimes.

Since we banned lead from paint, violent crime rates have been steadily falling.

President Donald Trump’s pick for Internal Revenue Service commissioner recently cleared a substantial debt from his failed 2022 Senate bid, using campaign contributions that rolled in after Trump announced his intent to nominate him to lead the tax agency, according to federal filings.

Former Republican Rep. Billy Long (R-Mo.) raked in roughly $137,000 in campaign donations in January — the month after Trump said he would nominate him to serve in Trump’s administration — according to campaign finance disclosures filed late Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission.

Long then paid back an outstanding personal loan of $130,000 he had made to his now-dormant 2022 U.S. Senate campaign in February. A number of the donors are affiliated with firms in the tax consultancy industry.
