The market will love this...the Dems are going to hand Trump a victory and wonder why no one is on their side or supporting them. I already cut my donations now I am not voting for any Dem except Omar. Phuck the Democrats.

Think we’re stupid or something. God damnit. I got a phone call from Brett Guthrie’s office this afternoon. His district director called me at work(!) and gave me the talking points. Said he read my letter and then went about addressing my concerns. I politely refuted all of them, of course. Work requirements? Going to cost more to implement/run that system than savings. Let states implement means testing to see who’s on the rolls but shouldn’t be? More expensive to implement than it’s worth in savings. States need more ‘skin in the game?’ Sir, we live in Kentucky, one of the poorest states in the country. We need all the extra money the federal government provides. He told me not to “pay attention to the political whitewashing that’ll happen with Medicaid over the next few months.” Mr. Lord, I will be calling you once those Medicaid cuts come through, just like I wrote in the letter.
That said, I got a call back the same day. And they obviously read the letter. Couldn’t even get through to dickhole Democrats on this CR. 😡
