Edit: Never mind what I was saying. You are 100 percent correct. Making light of the decimation of a race of people is Hi - frickin' - larious, and there is no reason for anyone to think it's offensive.

that's pretty mean spirited. no actually takes that to mean "lynch the ref"

does "smallpox blankets" actually mean let's kill people with smallpox infested blankets (like that's even possible) ?

its a fine line between a tasteful and a tasteless joke. personally, I rarely find something in life I can't joke about.

100 percent agreement. Honestly.

Two things come to mind that it is just offensive to me to joke about: child molestation and the near-elimination of an entire race of people.

One would think that if the students would wear their Chairman Obama party pin and gray uniforms and workers cap, than what ever they chant would be permissable!
