Thanks. They typically don't hand out DQ's unless it's a blatant intent to injure. They gave one to someone from Wisconsin last night for blowing up a SCSU guy from behind with 20 seconds left in a 5-1 game.

I agree with Rycroft. This is a mentally deficient team when it comes to judgement in regard to the penalties they take. It's been going on all dam year. And it may cost them a chance to go to the NCAA dance.

Quite a goalie battle in Mankato! 6-2 Tech after one. I think the final was 7-3.

According to the Gazette live blog:
Colorado Springs native Chris Knowlton and Josh Thorimbert shaken up after a hard-hitting collision. Knowlton had to be helped off the ice. Thorimbert being tended to by CC trainer Jason Bushie, on one knee in the slot. George Gwozdecky is going bonkers on Denver's bench!
