It really Sounds like you have arrived at the point where more space is the best answer. My fridge is starting to fill up with great beers. The girlfriend says I should drink some before getting more, I honestly feel like another fridge is the best option.

There should be a night where you miraculously realize that many of them are nearing the Age of Skunk and remedy the situation.

This was my problem, except not the fridge, I keep all of my beer in the icebox, and move them into the fridge as needed. I got to the point where I had such a huge variety and quantity of beer that the entire icebox was full, and my overflow cupboard (a big cupboard) was near full too. I have cut down on my beer purchases the last several months, and I have been drinking it regularly to get the stock down. Now the icebox is probably only about 2/3 full, and the cupboard empty. I would have just taken over another cupboard if I was single, but the wife vetoed that pretty quick, AND kicked me out of my current cupboard. At least I can fit a bunch of beer in the icebox.

Yeah, at one point there was a waiting list for my fridge downstairs. I don't think I've bought beer for that fridge in a month or two.

Schell's WeissBeer Sampler. Overall, quite good. I enjoyed all 4 varieties of beer in the pack, and I'd rank them in this order:

1)Weizenbock
2)1984
3)Dampfbier
4)2014

Though, there wasn't much of a difference from 1-4, as they were all quite good. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Mikkeller Beer Hop Breakfast was good, though it was pretty hoppy for an oatmeal stout, but then, it does have "hop" in its name, so it isn't surprising. I liked it, but it wasn't as good as many other stouts I've tried.

New Belgium Gratzer (Lips of Faith) as just ok. It was an odd smoked beer, in that it didn't have much depth of flavor. I am used to smoked beers being multi-layered, and this was just kinda blah with a smokey flavor.

Evil Twin Hop Flood. Brent left this at my place, because it was too hoppy for him, and yes, it is quite hoppy. I will find the right time to drink it, when I'm in the mood for a really hoppy beer, and I will thoroughly enjoy it, just as to be at the right time.

Found 4 bottles of Surly SeVIIn at a place near me. I bought two of them. No premium pricing, either. Apparently, the store found them over the weekend in their cellar. Lucky me! Yes, I'll be sitting on them for quite a while.

According to their data source, in Grenada, per capita, they have 438 1.5 ounce servings of "spirits" per year: or 1.2 shots per person per day.

I was seriously impressed with the first 2 that I had last night, and I highly recommend them. Both were excellent beers. I was disappointed by the Day Tripper, I had heard that it was excellent, and for me it just didn't live up to my expectations.

Sister who bought me my first bottle of Pyrat as a gift visiting and brought me another. Was planning on getting another despite stating earlier in this thread that I wouldn't restock it.

It's good enough that I wanted more and it's very smooth neat.

IIRC you were making a sour with a strain isolated from your back yard. How did it turn out (if it has yet)?

7 months in and I feel like it's starting to get some sourness. I am going to move it off the yeast cake soon and add a stout to it and see what happens with that over time. Then toss in some bottle dregs from a few sours to both carboys for a bit more biodiversity.

Hammerheart is just so good. We stopped by because we saw that their Olaf The Stout Barrel Aged was out again, and available in growlers. We each had a flight while there. All that I tasted was incredibly good. My wife thought a few were good, one wasn't and the other was OK (she doesn't like the outside the box beers like I do). I had a Host Ol Harvest Ale, which was very tasty, and had a bit of a fall spice flavor to it. Second was the Barrel Aged Serponsblod, a barrel aged red ale, that was excellent. Third was their Hokan's Brown Ale, which was probably the best brown ale I've ever tasted. Last was their "Northern IPA" which I was told is 129 IBUs, so pretty dang hoppy, it was my least favorite out of my flight, but still awesome. I took a few sips of a couple of my wife's, the smoked scotch ale was excellent (was also her favorite of her flight, by far), and one I've had before, the peated Irish red was still great.

Walked out with a full growler of the Olaf The Stout to save for later.

I can't recommend this place enough.

Went full candyass tonight with several Flor de Cana 4yr Extra Dry light rum mixed with passionfruit/mango juice. Very nice on a hot & humid afternoon and I was suffering from Coke-mixer fatigue.

Now having a cap with Pyrat XO neat while listening to a Dead show (and the cicadas) as the shadows lengthen and some thunderheads start to gather.

Another beautiful evening on the deck. I love my deck.

As part of a wedding gift from my sister and her fiance, we got bottle of Jack Rudy's Small Batch Tonic. I had no idea what to do with it, since we don't drink G&T's. I figured I would use it to doctor up a whiskey old fashioned, to see how it would taste. I poured a good glass of Basil Hayden's, a couple dashes of bitters, and then added some of the tonic. Very tasty creation. Doesn't really taste like an old fashioned anymore though, I think I need to use less of the tonic. The tonic has a very strong flavor, and it is practically a syrup, but it is really good stuff. Once I get this refined a little bit more, its going to be an excellent drink.\

We also got these things called Framboisines. Raspberries in brandy, from France, holy crap those things are tasty.

Also - what's a good bourbon for mixing (already have Double Oaked for the rare guest that wants something neat)?

Should be something that the Jack & Coke type would like, but isn't Jack or something that's expensive enough that you'd cringe a bit when someone wants to mix it.

I know we talked about bourbon previously, but I'm looking for a quality (but not premium) mixer this time.

I think Makers Mark toes the line between a bourbon that should be drank neat and a high quality mixer. Some people will drink it neat, but I don't think anyone will will cringe when you mix it with coke.

Good-quality tonic water (as opposed to corn syrupy Seagram's/Schweppe's stuff) goes a long way, which makes sense when you consider that it's a large portion, by volume, of most drinks you make with it.
