There's nothing wrong with Shiner Bock.
I had their Wild Hare Pale Ale and Bavarian Black Lager this weekend, and both were very good.
Drank a bunch of **** beer at Summerfest, Miller Lite, Coors Light and High Life. They were ****ty cheap beer, obviously. Unfortunately the lines for Water Street Brewery, and Lakefront were friggin huge, like 20-30 minutes long, so I decided to just go with **** beer with no line whatsoever.
Had a few Capital Ambers during golf yesterday, that is a solid beer. A standard amber, nothing special, but a good easy to drink beer. Like the previously mentioned Rush River Amber and Fat Tire. All are very similar and in the same class, in my opinion.
Just got home and I enjoyed a Deschutes Fresh Squeezed, a solid IPA, but not my favorite of the type. Then had a New Glarus Back 40 Bock, which is a really good bock beer, better than Shiner Bock, and I really like Shiner Bock.
