KBS is definitely a treat I'm glad I was able to pick up multiple 4 packs.Had an Odells Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout, while waiting for my KBS to get cold. Now having the KBS. I missed it so.

Seems like most stores only received one case if any. Where I live there are a couple good shops, but seemingly not many craft beer drinkers so more for me. I've been reading about 1 and 2 bottle limits all over the country and shops charging $7-$10 a bottle which is ridiculous. I was able to walk into two different shops and grab two 4 packs in each for $19.99 a piece which is very fair in my book. You magnificent bastige. I would so love to get more than a couple bottles. ALMOST had a line on a full case this year, but the store was not a Top 10 account with the distributor, so they didn't get any. Store even said, "Uh, minimum order for us is a case, if we can get it...is that okay?" I told them that I would buy whatever they could get, be it 1 case or 5. *sigh*

Ironically I'm now drinking a Hopslam. Bell's has no distribution in Maine, but I just traded a bunch of Maine stuff to a guy in the Midwest and he threw in a couple Hopslams. It was $5 at one store for me (they got 1 case, 1 bottle limit), and $6.50 at the other store (I think they got two cases, 2 bottle limit). The store that I almost had a line on is in the sticks; they sounded very confused when they recited the price of a 4-pack to me. I think their oddest craft beer is some Bell's. They DID get about 5 cases of Hopslam though, and they had no limit on it. It lasted at least a week, to my knowledge (whereas in the metro area, that sold out within the hour at stores).

KBS - We picked up ours directly from Founders during release week. It was $19/pk, limit of two, and we had to buy a ticket for $5 for the privilege. I do believe they donate the ticket money to a local charity, so I'm okay with that. We have 16 bottles here at the moment. However, four are spoken for.
Sadly, we didn't even get to drink any while in Grand Rapids this year. Sounds like any place they tapped it, they'd low through the keg in about 10 minutes, and we couldn't make it to the taproom on the Saturday; too cold to be out with the LGF.
On the way to the dells, Mrs EoDS says she's going into the gas station to get some beer or wine for the weekend. What does she come out with? ****ing Shock Top and Bud Lime-a-Rita.
Sigh.

Don't knock the Lime-A-Ritas! (although you must drink it on the rocks, not from the can; it does make a difference in taste)
Heck, I'm probably going to get some LaR's for the F4 viewing party next Saturday.
What did you expect when buying your booze from a gas station![]()

Yeah, but it's a Wisconsin gas station. Most of them along that stretch of road have their own walk-in beer coolers.
