What direction are they going in?


Who is going to play Penn State? Are teams going to line up to play this team?

Pretty sure they are trying to line up an entire ECAC/Ivy Non Conference schedule for 2012-13 so they can go undefeated.

Some guy gave them a zillion dollars to build a rink.
The rink will have ice in it, probably 2 blue lines, a red line, 2 goal lines and a bunch of dots.
They will play ice hockey against other ice hockey teams.
They may join a conference and play the role of MI Tech.
They will wear all white uni's on the road and blue jerseys at home.
They are located in some sort of valley.

What else needs to be known?

Wow! The B1G is already trying to emulate the NHL?!?

(Shouldn't the colors be reversed?)

White helmets, plain, single thin black stripe front to back.
Hopefully, Tim Whitehead with all his experience in Hawkey Rast, will be their first coach. Actually, what a great thought. Win-win for everyone.

It's a tough call, but this thread is going down the tubes. you can quote me on that. it's a tougher call with Penn State themselves, since they don't' even have a team, but I think I can say their first season will be tubular.

All within two days of the B1G announcement and about 18 months until varsity hockey returns to Happy Valley. Gawd, it's going to be a long, bumpy ride! :rolleyes: :D

Oh, BTW - it will be John Dufford, a member of the 39-40 Penn State team, who will be 92 when he drops the ceremonial first puck at the Pegula Ice Arena. :)
