Do the Minnesota Wild Need an Enforcer?

Re: Do the Minnesota Wild Need an Enforcer?

Ditto!

Two guys at work the following day said that is why Wild lost. They got beat up and didn't have an enforcer. I disagree. They lost momentum by not scoring on PP and lost some discipline. Once NY got momentum, Wild stopped playing their game. 4 guys standing around the winning goal scorer and no one covering him is not the way they have been winning. They just lost it and panicked. Wasn't the physical play. I like the way they are looking.'

BTW- I see an NHL thread. Is there a Wild thread I missed?

Re: Do the Minnesota Wild Need an Enforcer?

No. The NHL needs to do a better job of throwing the book at dummies like John Scott, Alex Burrows, and Ryan Kesler. Then you don't NEED "enforcers."

They need enforcers. More importantly, the NHL needs to teach the importance of The Code to the young bucks, some of which don't follow The Code.

Shut this thread down before Gurt scrunches his panties.

:D

Nah, I love it. Gives me something to bump when we play you guys. You know... for the juju.

Or create a Blackhawks thread to soothe his nerves and let him talk about them with his other FIB/FIB-wannabes.

I did create a Hawks one a few years ago and much like the first Wild thread, it jinxed them and they were circling the drain - relatively speaking. So I deleted it and of course they went on to recover and win another Cup within a year or two.
