DIII 2010 -- 11 Schedules

Re: DIII 2010 -- 11 Schedules

I see St. A's is coming over to MN for a tournament with CSS, St. Ben's and Bethel. Any other east/west crossover this season anyone has come across??

Other than Adrian of Course
Adrian's inter-region schedule
10/23 Cortland St
10/29-30 Oswego St
1/7-8 RIT

Once again Adrian schedules no nonconference games in the west...which I'm sure is a budget issue.

Re: DIII 2010 -- 11 Schedules

Looks like we can expect another year of East vs. West arguing.

You are probably right, but the West does really have to step it up this year. They got to host the NCAA's last year and were outscored 4-0 (semis) and 4-1 (consolation game) on home ice. Perhaps if LF played better in the playoffs leading up to the NCAA's, perhaps they might have fared a little better after the strong season they had last year. The West will have to hope they have recruited strong Freshman to bridge the gap of east versus west.

no but I'm sure that the when UW-Superior wins it all this year, it will be because we took RIT's goalie!!

I was just looking at crossover games

Trinity should hope they lose those games to UST and GAC...look how that worked out for Amherst :):)

We are playing back at Platty because they wanted to split the sites between Platty and RIT. One Chatham game is also missing. There are 24 games. Don't know if a game on Jan 29 with them was accidentally omitted or if there is just 1 game.

I'm sure there is a game on Jan 29th against Chatham. Wouldn't make sense for them to come all that way just for a Sunday game.

Could be a lot of trips to Plattsburgh this season...

three or four...

Might as well warn Mark and Matt at the 99 Bar & Grill that there's a "clipper" blowing in for the winter...

Seems Platty wants to play out this charade on home ice til they get it right ( or the clock works) :)

Re: DIII 2010 -- 11 Schedules

The January 2 and 3 at Plattsburgh is the Panther/Cardinal Classic with Elmira, Platty, Middlebury and Amherst. Great tournament!!

I remember some buzz at the tournament last year about Norwich replacing Elmira.

Re: DIII 2010 -- 11 Schedules

No Amherst or Middlebury?

I noticed that too. Looks like the Norwich Tournament replaced those two games.

For as many times as Elmira and Middlebury have played, Middlebury has only been to Elmira ONCE and that was for an NCAA Tournament game. Maybe Fargo got sick of no return trip?

EC could still end up playing one or both of Amherst/Middlebury at the Panther-Cardinal classic like the post below indicates.

Now I'm intrigued to know who's coming to the Norwich Tourney.
