I'm beginning to wish we still had no replay. At least then when the calls were wrong we got some heated manager arguments.

Entertaining, if nothing else. It was always fun to watch Marlboro Jimmy blow a fuse in the 5th inning or so.

New York must somehow not get all the camera angles or something. There have been so many calls just with the Tigers that are obvious but not overturned, I can't imagine what it's like league-wide.

I can't imagine it's much different.

A couple months ago the White Sox were on the wrong end of a call that went our way. Their response is that the Fox Sports Detroit broadcast had a better camera angle than the boys in the CWS dugout had.

I'm convinced that the boys in NYC are not interested in micro-managing every close call. They're there to overturn the truly bad calls, and the ones that are bang-bang close are going to stand.

I hate this god****ed Little League ballpark.

Which is pretty convenient, because we brought a Little League team here to play this weekend.
