Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Can we sell tonight?

Actually this is a lot closer than it looked live. Missed on the front foot, but I think the back touched it.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Watah!!

Wait a minute!!!! Under review and it's close.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

THE GAME IS OVER IF YOU DON'T CHALLENGE! CHALLENGE THE **** THING, ASSMUNCH!!

Nope, can't walk anybody to set up the double play. Let's not use any strategy when we need every game we can get.

They're not overturning this. The umpire was right on top of the play. This game is over.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The more it goes on the more I think he's out. Surprised the Sox are still playing victory tunes.

Well, now they won.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Told you. They're not overturning bang-bang plays of any kind unless it's about 200% conclusive.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Gibby does not project his voice as much as he should.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

At this point I'd be all for Gibby managing from the booth. Essentially everything he said they should do, Ausmus did the opposite.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Verlander was Verlander tonight.

Unfortunately, Ausmus was Ausmus as well.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

"Didn't think about walking Bogaerts because if you don't get the DP then you have to face Ramirez"

What the eff? This, combined with the "saving him for extras" comment earlier this week...

Does Ausmus know the game of baseball takes place in present time? Second time this week he's tried to rationalize decisions with hypothetical future events that never came to fruition.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

If Bogaerts is walked, his run does not matter. Once the runner scores from 2nd, the game is over. Therefore, you walk Bogaerts to set up the DP. To do otherwise is idiotic at best.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

If Leyland isn't in the crowd today, there's someone who looks exactly like him behind home plate on the first base side.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Alan Trammell coaching first base and wearing #4. That's not right.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I wouldn't put it past Simon to give up a grand slam right here.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The shadows are in an absolutely ideal spot for the pitcher for the next couple innings. That might be Simon's only saving grace. Maybe.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Bases loaded and we come away with an empty sack. Dammit.
