Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

They're finishing 75-87.

I'm not so sure that they'll get to 75 at this rate.

They're starting to feed JD off-speed stuff. He's not going to hit a homer every other day until Halloween. Sooner or later this offense is going to sag without Miggy. That's when the **** is going to hit the fan.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I'm not sure what Ausmus can do. He can't trust anyone in the bullpen. Soria 3 days in a row isn't the best, but Rondon was getting rocked.

Verlander I guess could have stayed in, but it's only his 2nd game back?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Detroit News said:
Feliz is in his second season after having Tommy John surgery and he was getting roughed up consistently before the Rangers designated him for assignment. He had blown three of nine save opportunities, ultimately losing that role. His ERA was 4.58 and his WHIP 1.678.

His fastball velocity, once in the high-90s, was averaging 93.8 mph, and it was getting hit. He has gone to his slider and change-up more frequently.

Oh, that makes me feel so much better.

6-0 now in the 3rd.

We can go on with our day now.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Yep. Again. But this time Victor went nut**** in the top of the 5th and got tossed.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Well. That was fun while it lasted. Now it's 9-4. Hunter hit one nine miles off of Buck Futter.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

9 back in the loss column after today. A flaming turd for a bullpen, and a mess in the back half of the rotation.

Sell.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Neftali Feliz is throwing in the pen. This ought to be good.

As Ron White would tell his grandma, "PUT ON THE **** HELMET!"

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

He actually did a nice job today. One of the few that did.

This team is in real trouble.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Yup. Shane Green sure had it figured out in Toledo, didn't he?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Yes. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

I am reading that there might be some serious off the wall stuff happening before next season. I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Sad situation with this team. If they "buy" we know the Tiger's will be a real long shot this year..........and have absolutely no shot beyond.
