Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Might as well give Todd Frazier the key to the City of Detroit. He already owns the Tigers. Good grief.

MIGGY!!!

3-2 Tigers, top 6.

Miggy gonna Miggy.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Miggy hit that one so hard it brought rain. The tarp is now on the field.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Wowza. Oppo halfway up the stands for Miggy. Now we need this rain to stop, because I'm pretty sure they'd revert back to the last completed inning which means we lose 2-0 if they don't want to cram in a DH tomorrow.

There's no if. This game is official thru 5.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Right. If it was a division game they might think about suspending and continuing later, but I remember the Tigers and Braves playing through a decent rain storm a few years ago because interleague games are such a hassle to reschedule.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Right. But they won't call it off and re-start it. And I don't know what's behind this shower, weather-wise.

I think we're telling each other the same thing here.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

All right. That's enough. No more pitching to Todd Frazier for the rest of the series.

COLLINS!!!

4-3 Tigers, top 8.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Jesus Christ.

We're not supposed to win this game. Cespedes misjudges a ball at the LF wall, and then Pena grounds one up the middle that hits the freaking 2B bag.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

And now Hardy wants to nibble with a .217 hitter at the plate. This is a fiasco.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Now we've got to go through Chapman in the 9th to break the tie. Good going, guys.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I don't care if it's 100. You don't swing at it if it's above your adam's apple.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Both lead-off hitters picked off in the 1st inning.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

A-Rod just hit #3,000. A solo shot to RF. Off of Verlander.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I'm still not sure if Martinez is healthy or not.
