Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Tigers are next on the clock to draft. I've got two names in mind that they may take: Funkhouser (P) or Nick Plummer (OF-Birmingham Brother Rice).

We're gonna find out in a minute.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The guy the Royals just drafted is wearing a red shirt with white polka dots with his suit. And a white tie. *shakes head*

What time does Miami Vice come on?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Beau Burrows - RHP from Weatherford, TX. A high school pitcher.

I honestly thought they were going to go for Funkhouser.

34th overall pick - Christin Stewart - OF - University of Tennessee

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Cam Gibson out of MSU in the 5th round.

Surprising to me. Never impressed me too much but maybe that was expecting him to be all-world like his dad.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I guess the replay didn't matter. Cespedes gunned Lake down at the plate by about 15 feet.

That's why I don't rant about Cespedes and his windmill tendencies at the plate, along with his relatively low OBP. He makes up for it when he goes out there with that piece of leather on his hand.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I smell an ejection coming. I have no idea how the 2nd base umpire can tell whether the ball was foul-tipped in the dirt from 140 feet away.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Shane Greene was poor again tonight. Kyle Ryan in to start the 4th. He may be pitching for a spot in the rotation right now.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Bases loaded, 1 out, and that's exactly how we leave them.

I think we can watch hockey for the remainder of the evening.

6-0 Cubs, end 6.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

36 years ago today, the Tigers fired Les Moss as manager.

His replacement? Sparky Anderson.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Bases loaded, 1 out, and Castellanos and McCann both wave at pitches about a foot outside the strike zone.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Okay, Miggy, you don't have a beef there. Not even with that fat **** working 1st base.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Just had to put it in the air... Instead it's a ground out for a double play. Go team.

Sanchez throws a 2-hitter.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Chapman closes out the Tigers with back-to-back 103's on the radar run. I had forgotten what it was like to watch that.

I ain't even mad.
