Yet Avila (and 4 others in the lineup) had career batting avg. > .300 vs. Shields. What a Jekyll / Hyde team this is.

Somebody else's bullpen sucks for once. Tigers win 6-4, Royals lose 8-4. Tigers have a 1.5 game lead in the Central.
