Looks like the team is on it's slump schedule again. Should be about three days until the hot streak starts up.

Yep. And there's next to no time to rest. 54 games in 55 days, due to previous rain-outs.

Well, after that crapfest of a weekend, we managed to lose only 1 game off of our lead, heading out to Arizona.

They've given up more runs in the 9th inning than they did all of last year.

Ah yes, Arizona, our old time interleague rival. Though now MLB tells us we're supposed to dislike the Pirates, and for a couple of years the Rockies were our greatest foe in the senior circuit.

Tough loss last night. Porcello was dealing but with 2 out sand bases loaded in the 7th Ausmus pinch hit Davis for Ricky P. After getting a 3-0 count he struck out looking to keep the score 4-3 Tigers. Then the bullpen blew it.

Tigers have traded for Joakim Soria. Players involved haven't been named yet.

EDIT: Jake Thompson and Corey Knebel. I'll take it. Two top prospects, but I'll take one in the hand over two in the bush any day.

I am now convinced that Little Caesars, Sam Bernstein, and Fanatic U all aim their ads at the same target market: ghetto thugs and downriver white trash.

The Sam Bernstein ads are just flat-out blatant: HI!!! YOU SHOULD HIRE US TO CHASE YOUR AMBULANCE BECAUSE MY BROTHER IS BLIND AND MY SISTER IS A MOM!!!!!
