Well I guess I'm not really surprised by that ending. What else could be expected to happen when a virtual AAA team is playing the worst NL team on the last day of the season? Zero effs were given by Leyland that game.

Just wanted to say it s**cks that this game (Tigers @ A's) isn't on until 9:37 EDT. Plus, I'll probably have had enough of baseball with three games preceeding the game in Oakland--not that I'm going to watch all the games.

I hope I'm wrong.
let's hope JV and max can last into the 7th or 8th and that the bull pen comes thru. I expect some very tight games.
I'll tell ya the A's worry me. the last time they were here they beat us like a drum.I look for them to try to get the starter out of the game by the fifth, and to feast on the bull pen. I also look for them to shut down most of our hitting.
I hope I'm wrong.

I am of the same thought about the A's; but, like you said, I hope I'm wrong. And, right, I hope Max, JV, Anibal, and Mister Fister are all on their game. But, the A's have good pitching as well, so we'll see if the Tigers can hit good pitching.
